The employer is a multinational company with a sales office and warehouse in Eastern Europe and its headquarter in Asia, specialized in the distribution of ball and roller bearings that find their application mainly in agricultural machinery, electric motors, transmission and automotive industry, mining, gear boxes, material handling, steel and paper mills. The company is involved in an ambitious growth plan that expected to double the turnover within the next few years. In this context the employer is looking for a CEO who, to be based in Hungary, shall be responsible for financial results, legal compliance to laws, as well as for the operative guidelines to the sales team in Eastern Europe.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the role of a CEO or a MD of modern organized companies in Eastern Europe, ideally with a background in bearings industry or high precision mechanics sector.
The CEO shall represent the company, set objectives (both individual and company wise), ensure the operations and working conditions, manage the financial and human resources, evaluate the employees’ work and help develop their skills profiles and leadership abilities.
The CEO shall govern the economics, finance, accounting and labour relations of the company.
The key responsibility areas shall be:
- a) Fullfillment of all legal obligations and management of the company’s tax filing;
- b) Compliance with all labor laws;
- c) Organization and control of corporate cash flow, banking and credit affairs;
- d) Responsibility of company balance sheet and P&L;
- e) Contribution to the company strategy definition and implementation.

An excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken is mandatory while the knowledge of Hungarian or any other Eastern Europe languages is considered an important plus.
