Deutsche Messe announces Industrial Transformation MEXICO

Deutsche Messe AG announced today the launch of Industrial Transformation MEXICO – a HANNOVER MESSE Event. Scheduled for 9–11 October 2019 at the Poliforum León convention and exhibition center in León, the tradeshow and conference is the next step in Deutsche Messe’s globalization of the HANNOVER MESSE brand.

“HANNOVER MESSE is the world’s biggest show for industrial technology and leading platform for Industrie 4.0. During the past decade, we have strategically introduced our topics to growth markets around the world. Mexico impressed the global industry as Partner Country at HANNOVER MESSE 2018. Now is the time to bring to Mexico an industry fair that is custom-made for Mexico’s booming economy,” said Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe AG. “Industrial Transformation Mexico packages the leading industrial technologies and solutions with a top-notch forum program. Visitors from Mexico and neighboring countries have the opportunity to learn how to digitalize their factories and plants.”

Industrial Transformation MEXICO consists of a tradeshow, conference and educational program tied together by the overarching themes of smart manufacturing and digital transformation in Mexico. The exhibit program features four main display categories – Smart Manufacturing, Industrial Automation and Robotics, Digital Factory and ICT, and Smart Logistics – as well as areas for live demonstrations and one-on-one consultations. The event serves industry sectors such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, food and beverage, metalworking, packaging, and steel and petro-chemicals processing.

“I am a true believer that advanced manufacturing holds the key to economic growth in Mexico’s industrial market, so we are thrilled that Hannover Fairs Mexico has developed the first Industry 4.0 event in Latin America, tailored for Mexico,” said Paulo Carreño King, CEO of ProMéxico. “As Partner Country at HANNOVER MESSE 2018 – the only time this distinction has gone to a Spanish-speaking country – Mexico highlighted its strengths in the areas of automation, robotics, digitalization, and logistics. The next step is to stage an event in Mexico that focuses specifically on the opportunities and challenges in the Mexican market. Industrial Transformation MEXICO does just that. We look forward to a successful premier.”

Hannover Fairs Mexico, Deutsche Messe’s subsidiary in Mexico, organizes Industrial Transformation MEXICO. More than 150 exhibiting companies and 4,000 visitors are expected at the premier.
