They comply with ISO standards and are directly interchangeable with metric competitor products, depending on dimension                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Photo: The Timken Company

Extended Program – Optimized Performance

The Timken Company  is adding 250 part numbers to its portfolio of single and double row angular contact ball bearings in time for the Hanover Fair (Hall 25, Stand E11). Designed for reliable performance in pump, compressor, electric motor and many other industrial applications, angular contact ball bearings are able to handle high speeds and both radial and axial loading. Product features include enhanced raceway profiles, smoother running, high-speed capability, robust seals, and premium lubricant.

Single- and double-row types

In addition to standard single-row bearings, the range includes universally matched single-row bearings and double-row types – each with different cage types, contact angles and tolerances.  These bearings follow ISO standards and are dimensionally interchangeable with competitor metric products.

Single-row and double-row angular contact ball bearings are designed to withstand high speeds and simultaneously support radial and axial loads.                                                                                                 Photo: The Timken Company

Cages made of steel, brass or polyamide

Various cage options are available: The preferred choice for most applications are rigid and robust double row angular contact ball bearings with pressed steel cages. For added strength and durability under extreme conditions, single row angular contact ball bearings with brass cages are available. Optionally, both types – single row and double row angular contact ball bearings – can be equipped with cages made of cast glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66. They provide additional misalignment capability and offer reduced functional torque.
