Radwell International has launched in Spain, with the opening of new premises in Paterna, Valencia, as part of the international company’s strategic expansion in Europe. Already one of Europe’s biggest providers of new and used surplus, industrial electrical and electronic control equipment, Radwell is an authorized distributor for over 350 manufacturers, specializing in hard-to-source parts.
Launching with a key team of nine, including Spanish, French and Italian-speaking customer service staff and engineers, the Spanish location is a strategic opening for Radwell, aimed at providing faster turnaround for spare parts and repair solutions for customers in Spain, Portugal, Italy and France. Acting as a regional hub for Radwell’s global stock inventory from the outset, planned expansion at the site is anticipated to create significant further jobs across customer service, engineering, warehousing and field sales.
Radwell International Spain Branch Manager, Pablo Martínez Carcel, says: “Radwell International sells and repairs industrial electrical and electronic control devices. Working in a huge variety of sectors, the size and scale of our inventory now puts us in an unrivalled position for the provision of spare parts and repairs solutions in stressful breakdown situations. Radwell’s mission is to be the indispensable partner to manufacturers, offering an extensive inventory of industrial parts and services to minimize downtime. The Spanish office has been opened as a strategic move to better meet that mission for Radwell customers in Spain, Portugal, Italy and France and we look forward to working with customers across these territories.”
With over 2,000 employees across eighty sites worldwide, Radwell maintains a stock of over 250,000 new and obsolete spare parts, across a total of 9.5 square kilometers of storage space. Shipping products door-to-door 24/7, Radwell’s product inventory is backed-up by its multi-national team of over 50 European-based engineers, speaking a total of 25 languages. Radwell’s European capabilities are supported by a worldwide database of over 35 million spare parts. Its technology-enabled distribution model makes the company a leading global provider of maintenance, repair and operations products, focused on the repair solutions aftermarket for critical components. The new Spanish operation adds to Radwell’s seven existing key European sites across the UK, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and Belgium.
