5x NEW strategic acquisitions from Atlas Copco

 

  • Industrial pump distributor in the UK has become part of Atlas Copco Group

Kinder-Janes Engineers Ltd (“Kinder-Janes”), an industrial pump distributor headquartered in St. Albans, UK, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.

Kinder-Janes was founded in 1957 and has 20 employees.

Through this acquisition we can further expand and penetrate the UK pump market, in line with our strategy to provide even better and closer service to our customers”, said Andrew Walker, Business Area President Power Technique.

The purchase price is not disclosed. During 2023 the company had revenues of 12,5 MGBP (164 MSEK*).

The company will become part of the Power and Flow division within the Power Technique Business Area.

 

  • Italian filters distributor has become part of Atlas Copco Group

Easy Filtration SRL (“Easy Filtration”), an Italian company that distributes process filters and associated services, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.

Easy Filtration, located in Milan, was founded in 2013. The company has 9 employees and provides filter cartridges for air, gas and process liquids, filter housings and clean-in-place systems. The main customer groups are present within the industrial coatings, chemical, cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors.

The purchase price is not disclosed. The business becomes part of the Medical Gas Solutions division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.

 

  • Compressor distributor in Portugal has become part of Atlas Copco Group

Arlógica Máquinas e Equipamentos, Lda (“Arlógica”a compressor distributor and service provider, has become part of Atlas Copco Group. The company is based in Vila do Conde in the Porto Region in Portugal and has 9 employees.

Arlógica was founded in 1980 and has been part of the Pinto Brasil Group since 2008. The company offers sales and service of compressors and ancillaries and has recently begun to represent the Atlas Copco brand.

“This acquisition will allow us to strengthen the Atlas Copco brand presence in Portugal, especially in the regions of Porto and Braga”, said Philippe Ernens, Business Area President for Compressor Technique.

The purchase price is not disclosed. Arlógica becomes part of the Compressor Technique Service division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.

 

  • Italian leak detection systems manufacturer to become part of Atlas Copco Group

ESA Service S.r.l, (“ESA Service”), a company designing and manufacturing leak detection and gas recovery systems, will become part of Atlas Copco Group.

ESA Service is a privately owned company headquartered at its manufacturing location in Treviglio, Italy. The company has 40 employees and in 2023 revenues amounted to 10.3 MEUR (MSEK 118*).

“ESA Service was founded in 1980 by the current owners and has exhibited strong growth by serving a well-diversified range of industrial customers”, said Geert Follens, Business Area President Vacuum Technique. “Through this acquisition we further strengthen our leak detection core knowledge as well as gaining a leak detection and gas recovery systems manufacturer in Europe.”

The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2024.

The company will become part of the Scientific Vacuum division within the Vacuum Technique Business Area.

 

  • Hygienic pump manufacturer in the Netherlands has become part of Atlas Copco Group

Pomac BV (“Pomac”), a Dutch company which develops and manufactures hygienic pumps, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.

Pomac, founded in 1977 and headquartered in Tolbert, develops and manufactures a complete product range of hygienic pumps under the brand name Pomac Pumps. The pumps are used worldwide in various industries, mainly in the food & beverage industry.

Through this acquisition we further expand our product portfolio within the industrial pump market with additional technology and a wide product portfolio”, said Andrew Walker, Business Area President Power Technique.

The purchase price is not disclosed. In 2023, the company’s revenues were approximately MEUR 8,3 (MSEK 95,3*). Pomac has 23 employees.

The company becomes part of Power and Flow division, within the Power Technique Business Area.
