Diana Zarins appointed to lead HR strategy and advance company culture
Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corporation (“Arnold”), a leading global manufacturer of high-performance magnets, electric motors and precision thin metals, announces a significant leadership transition within its human resources team. Effective September 9, 2025, Diana Zarins has assumed the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), reporting directly to CEO Matt Blake. Under Diana’s leadership, Arnold will intensify its focus on company culture, talent acquisition, and long-term growth, aligning HR strategy with the company’s vision for operational excellence.
This transition includes a shift in reporting structure, with Tiffany Gorham now reporting directly to Diana. In the coming weeks, Wendy Cheek, Chief Financial Officer, will transition HR responsibilities to Diana in order to dedicate her full time and attention to financial operations. Arnold extends its gratitude to Wendy for her dedication and stewardship of the HR organization during the past several years.
Diana’s appointment comes at a pivotal time following the successful completion of Arnold’s facility move, marking an important milestone in the company’s evolution. Her leadership will be central to fostering a dynamic workplace environment and attracting top talent during this transition period.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Diana will work closely with her peers to set the strategic direction for all aspects of people management across Arnold’s global manufacturing sites. She will lead the enterprise-wide development and implementation of HR strategies that support business objectives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, labor relations, benefits administration, compensation strategy, and talent development, ensuring excellence and consistency throughout the organization.
Diana is a seasoned Human Resources leader with more than sixteen years of experience managing HR functions within manufacturing organizations. She has a proven track record of delivering impactful people strategies and developing high-performing teams across multiple sites. Diana’s career began after graduating from Ohio University with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Human Resources Management and Spanish. She started as an HR Generalist at Kahiki Foods, where she made a significant impact transforming employee relations and achieving “Top 50 Employer” recognition. She went on to join Hexion Inc., where she advanced to Director, Global HR Business Partner, partnering with senior executives to define and implement HR strategy. A native of Ohio, Diana resides in the Columbus area with her family.
